Heat Stress Toolkit

Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers recently launched an online toolkit with a number of guides, calculators, infographics, videos and other resources to help workers and managers understand the heat conditions in their workplace, assess the risk of heat stress, and take action to protect themselves or their workers.

​

As part of an extensive outreach campaign, I worked with the not-for-profit to promote the tool on social media.

This focus of the social media content was to create awareness about the risk of heat stress and encourage companies to use the resources in the toolkit.

To make this happen, I used scroll-stopping colours, images and statements that I knew would resonate with the target audience.(When I create content, I do it all. I develop strategy, source photos, design graphics, edit videos, write copy, record voiceover and schedule posts.)​
